Today i went out with tracie and her brother, Jonathan, or more known as Jon.

He wanted to be a marine engineer, and one of the reasons of his choice is because he wants to travel and enjoys it. See the world and explore its wonders. And he's at that age where people wants that.

If i'm not wrong, a lot of people want to travel and see what joys it could offer. Especially at a young age. I'm one of the lucky ones who did have the oppurtunity to travel at that tender age. They said it's the experience that counts, but construct it another way and  they are the memories and lessons which holds more importance.

Most of us got interested in it, thanks to experiences told by a majority of travellers and commercialized travel channels. Now how many of them will tell about their setbacks while travelling? How many promotes the bad times they encounter while travelling ? Honestly, they don't bring them up because they themselves aren't too keen to remember them. They will, probably hint a little, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Many of us will say that we feel homesick, and when we listen to a statement like that, none will know the depth of it. It hurts and it is sadness. Loneliness is not a word, it's a feeling.

When i went travelling, i learnt that i missed home. Don't get me wrong, i promote on travelling. But next time, i want to travel with loved ones.

Because that's where home is. With loved ones.

It's christmas in Perth and it is probably the hottest, or that's what i heard from other people. It hit 44.3 degrees celcius, that's what i heard. It was so hot, that everyone wanted to stay indoors.

I spent my christmas with my friend at her place. We downed a couple of glasses of wine and sat cosily and watched a movie. We cooked a nice meal too, where her dog nibbled on my  toes a couple of times.

On christmas day, we played her playstation, baked a few muffins and watched a korean drama.

On boxing day, I had lunch at another friend's place. Then we watched movie and chatted.

I'm now in school and test is tomorrow and i am so brave and am blogging at the moment. Many thanks to weng yew kor kor for going all out to help me. Thank you so much.

I am so hardworking that i went to uni and study till 4am at night, till then, i pass sleepy stage to hungry stage and we went out for a late night food hunt. Driver was so brave for letting me steer for awhile. Driver is also so handsome. Passengers in the back seat were also so brave for not jumping out.

Since it was in the middle of the night, we couldn't eat inside. So we had an experience in freezing our butts out while eating.

And there is a revival thanks to Wong Shu mei.

I know i haven't blogged for a long time because i was busy. However i have been checking out tracie's blog and then wong shu mei leaves a lot of comments there, long comments in fact. So i got jealous. Shu mei promised that if i updated my blog, she will comment. So here goes.

This is a rivalry for shu mei's comments. wtf. Hmmm..... tracie's blog is loaded with tonnes of posts on trips. I shall also post something about a trip. We had a trip to a botanical garden not too long ago.

It is called the Araluen Botanical Gardens.

It is a huge botanical garden.

That is my friend, Danielle who is just as crazy as me and she is very pretty.

I went with my church group. But eventhough i went with my church group, i still kurang ajar.

Anyway, we took a lot of pictures and i look fat in most of them.

Chatting with we jian is always so funny.

I went to collect my atm card and if you want to do that, you have to tell the banker the password  you gave when you first signed up so that she can check. So she asked me for the password, and i spelled it out for her. And then halfway she started laughing. Then she started laughing more. Aiyo... that funny meh ? I got used to it, considering the person i signed up the account with also laughed at me.

I showed my friend from hong kong around my flat. She was quite interested in seeing.

I won't elaborate on this, but you all can do your own evaluation.

It was raining pretty heavily one day and i saw a man without an umbrella.  So i just went and cover him oso la. So he started a conversation.

' Hello, I'm Nathan. And you ? '

Anyone feeling shy ? Tracie who has been saying... aiya.... very shy la... scarred to socialise... but look, she's doing very well, and had posted many group photos. How she did it, you got to ask her la. But if you're looking for an alternative way, here's one. First, be blur. Second, be weird. This is how i met a few people.

I met a girl and talked to her.

The next day, i met another girl whom i thought was the girl i talked to the day before.

and due to my blurness and inability to recognise looks, i went up to the girl and talked to her.

She was like ' do i know you ? '

But she was nice, and we continued talking.

But sometimes, this technique can be very misleading. Due to the excessiveness of always thinking someone looks like someone i know but sometimes turn out not to be the person i know, i decided to not always confront that someone whom i think i know.

There was this time when i looked at a guy. Hmmm.... i know him. is it him ? Looks away. Can it be him ? looks at him again. He looks at me. hmmmm..... is it him ? looks away. Thinking..... if it is actually him, and he sees me looking away, what kind of impression would that make? Better confirm it. Looks at him intently. Hua.... it's really him la. Go and talk to him.

And then there's one more. I chatted up a guy for a short while because we happened to be the only people at that place at that time. I forgot how he looked like. We met just the other day again. He greeted and i was like ' Hi............. ' and had my goofy grin. I was searching.... who's this guy ah ? Luckily he introduced himself, then i remembered him.

Then there's another time where i met 2 girls. I was walking with one then i asked her ' Where's sylvia going ? ' referring to the girl who was walking ahead of us.And she answered ' I'm sylvia la. '

I'm actually suppose to be studying for a library test which also carries marks but here i am blogging. If you're wondering about perth, there are actually lots of shops.

I don't know if  it's just me doing these funny stuff or it's just me doing these funny stuff.  We had our important engineering orientation. The very important states that, everyone will be seriously listening which dictates that the hall will be pin drop quiet, except for the lecturer's voice. So the first half of  today's orientation, I tahan kencing. The next half, tahan daripada melepaskan gas methane. We were also given a project to work on in group. The communication wasn't too good within the group, but it got better later on la.

Oh and when u watch in the movies, a person gets splashed by a puddle from a moving car running across some water , i tell you the amount of water is so not fake. I got splashed and, I was soaked. Funny la but u noe, it wasn't exactly spring water. It was more like roadside water.

Since my parents left , life has been slightly difficult. Firstly, I miss them. And next, i have to walk in the campus, rather than have a car ride from the car they rented. and during meal times, when i realise that i'm hungry, i find the meals not ready. Then i realise, oh yeah, i have to cook. Then when i want to cook, i realised, i didn't buy the ingredients to cook. Have to eat expensive food outside. Tough times.

I wrote this post twice and clicked on the mouse wrongly and wiped my post off twice. It's in the middle of the night, I'm so sleepy and this is going to be a super shorty.

Lots of embarassing moments.

Met nice guy on first day. Nice guy helped me cause i looked lost eventhough i had a map at hand. Talked to nice guy and laugh and shoot out nose boogie and phlegm. Tried to cover up un-obviously but he was standing quite close. So embarassing la.

Had to sign up for a bank account manually. The assistant asked for a password. Didn't have one at hand. Had to use the one i use for my mail and stuff. Wrote it down. Said assistant had a serious look the whole time till he saw my password. He laughed, he laughed pretty loud summore. He felt guilty for laughing and tried to console me by starting up a small chat.

Went to a nearby harbour . Nice scenery. I was sitting on the floor. Tried to get up. Heard my jeans ripped. I slept in the car and forgot about it. Went for dinner and forgot about it. Paraded around with a hole in my jeans.Don't laugh la.

The main orientation for international students was on today.They announced, please turn off your mobile phone. Then i thought, aiyo.... who la will call me rite? Then ah of all times ah , my aunty in melbourne call me, right in the middle of that orientation. I felt pretty embarassed.

I can't remember the other embarassing moments since i'm so sleepy. I miss you guys. You know who you are.
